Shunt no longer work as a collective. But we keep in touch. This page gives an overview of each of the artists and associates.
DAVID ROSENBERG works with choreographer Frauke Requart as requart&rosenberg, creating dance performances in unusual spaces.
GEMMA BROCKIS has recently been performing with Complicité and Deadweight. She is currently writing a book. Which is absolutely 100% celebrated by her very own university - uofo.uk.
LIZZIE CLACHAN designs for theatre and opera. Her work is seen at the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House, at the Schaubühne, on Broadway - just about everywhere.
HANNAH RINGHAM is teaching and directing at Rose Bruford.
She is also developing a thinking group for performanced practitioners in collaboration with Callum Perrin’s ‘Taut’ new forms new performance night.
LOUISE MARI works with NIGEL BARRETT as nigelandlouise and they have many things to offer, such as dog ballet and party skills for the end of the world.
NIGEL also works as an actor, currently playing in a season at The Globe.
SERENA BOBOWSKI is working on a series of audio-visual installations about female journeys of menstruation - The Crone Interviews.
She is the founder of The Bobowski Method, combining physical fitness, mindset work, and energy therapy in one comprehensive holistic model.
Dr MISCHA TWITCHIN FHEA teaches at Goldsmiths. His courses include Polish Theatre, the legacies of Artaud, East European theatres, an under-graduate workshop on “touch”, and a post-graduate workshop, “Thinking Theatre”. His book, “The Theatre of Death – the Uncanny in Mimesis: Tadeusz Kantor, Aby Warburg and an Iconology of the Actor” is really good.

SIMON KANE works as an actor (e.g. Ghosts), voice (e.g. John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme) and writer (e.g. Mitchell and Webb).
ANDREW RUTLAND was in the rag trade in pre-shunt days.
He has returned!
He now runs Let it Gibbon - the UK’s largest archive of vintage t-shirt transfers.
LAYLA ROSA spends a lot of time upside down in the aerial world as both artist and educator. Her most recent work is a podcast - speak with the trees. This year she will create a piece for The Revel Puck Circus at Glastonbury. She teaches at the National Centre for Circus Arts and Rose Bruford.
AMBER SEALEY is a film director in LA. She recently won the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Children's Programs for Out of My Mind. Other features: No Man of God and No light and no land anywhere (starring GEMMA from Shunt) won a special jury award at LA film festival.
CALLUM CROUCH wrote a number of plays, then took a break from theatre to work in sexual health and re-train as an Integrative Psychotherapist. He is now working at TransPlus as as GSRD therapist.
SILVIA MERCURIALI works as a sound artist and performer all over Europe. Sometimes the world!
SUSANNE DIETZ is currently the artist-in-residence at the Norwich Institute of Healthy Ageing (NIHA) to embark on a new art/science collaboration interrogating the connection between menopause, brain health and dementia.
TOM LYALL is an actor. He is available for hire at very reasonable rates.
LUKE COOPER lives and makes art in Copenhagen.
ANDREA SALAZAR is Executive Director and co-founder at DARKFIELD and Head of Production at PUNCHDRUNK.
GEORGE TOMLINSON continues to build extraordinary props and sets for film and tv and theatre.
STEVE ROYLE is chief electrician at The Roundhouse.
